In a team of 2 under the Principal directory, I was responsible for developing a concept of the stadium and providing façade design options to be ready for a rendering company.

In the ‘city of flowers’, Guangzhou, the stadium concept is a dynamic abstraction of the city’s nature. The variability and fluidity drive the exaggeration of layers and curvature in aesthetics and the smell of flora. The façade swirls on-site to perform at all angles with complete openness on the lower ground to create a charming character and a free expression to give a lightness to the building.
